After NLBI Trainers Maxi and Lucy in Uganda taught 70 women over two days, they shared the overall situation. “Women are hurting and sometimes do not know the right way to go, or they are afraid to share their hurt with those around them."

NLBI recognizes the importance of having trainers in place who understand the culture of those being taught. Because they are teaching their own people groups, these leaders understand how best to answer difficult questions and support the women.

Their concluding remarks were very encouraging. "It was a fruitful seminar because two women were moved to give their lives to Christ. We led them down the river and they were baptized. We give all the glory to God because of how the women felt blessed by the training."
