We are excited to share that the ongoing mission work in Southern Zambia is progressing well. In December, we worked with a young church that was planted in January 2024 with an average attendance of 60. We taught NLB lessons and preached captivating sermons. We also visited homes in the church neighborhood, extending the warmth of God’s grace as we shared the Good News of Jesus Christ. The impact of our door-to-door evangelism was significant. It fostered a sense of community, helped us, as a young church, to connect with the surrounding community, and opened new conversations about spiritual life. God be praised! As a result of these efforts, 8 more people accepted Jesus Christ, which brings the total baptisms to 23.
We are incredibly grateful to God for what He has accomplished through our team. We have experienced a transformation; this effort brought us closer as a church family and strengthened our growing congregation. Additionally, we visited one of the sisters who was ill with a fever. We prayed for her, encouraged her, and took her to visit the nearby health center, where she received treatment.
Thank you very much to the NLBI family for your prayers and for providing the resources that made this training possible.
