The predominant aim of the NLBI Behavior Youth Camp was to help participants grow in their faith, develop positive behaviors reflective of Christian teachings, and cultivate a supportive community of like-minded peers.
The essence of this training was to encourage participants to explore scripture, explore their beliefs deeply, build lasting friendships, and return home inspired to live out their faith in everyday life.
Workshops concentrated on virtues such as honesty, kindness, and humility, often with interactive discussions and activities. We were able to dissect the interplay of a strong sense of self, the challenges posed by drug and substance abuse, and the transformative power of Christian discipline.
Moving forward, we encouraged youths to take the insights gained from this seminar into their personal lives and communities. By fostering a culture of support, compassion, and understanding, we sought to help them make meaningful strides toward healing and wholeness.
The three-day camp was attended by 208 youths from churches if Christ in this area and ten young people were baptized.
