Although numbers cannot tell the whole story of the work NLBI's 53 Trainers are doing, they provide an overview. Since July 2022, when Vision 5.5 began, the Trainers have taught 53,174 people -- Christians and non-Christians. Of those, 2,598 have been baptized into Christ!
Our guest of honor at the Missions Dinner was Duncan Ojiambo, a man of God who serves as an NLBI Trainer in Uganda and leads many in ministry. When NLBI President Mike Biggers interviewed Duncan, one of the most encouraging testimonies told was about the many ways God has transformed an entire region that once worshipped a tree. Today a church building stands in front of that tree! Preacher training schools are teaching ministry skills as well as vocational skills. A children’s school has been started in an area where there were no schools and these children are learning about Jesus in addition to their other studies. New churches are being started. May God be praised forever!
